CCD has been involved in a number of major infrastructure projects planned to deliver a radical change in the way systems are operated and controlled. Our experience in the design of control centres and other operational environments means that we can offer our clients key strategic planning and design services at the early development stage of a project.
What do we do?
We conduct feasibility studies to assess proposed building location options in terms of geography and demographics, commuting times, migration considerations, security, business continuity needs and staff issues such as safe access out of hours. We assess existing buildings against new-build options in terms of meeting client goals, space requirements, building services and refurbishment programmes. Defining and conveying the desired company image both to staff and to the public has also been a major factor in building selection and design.
A strategic planning programme which fully addresses client goals and requirements as well as the human needs of the workforce is key to the successful outcome of a complex building project.
