Ethnography & User Research

Behind all good design is the understanding of human needs and behaviours.  This is an intrinsic part of the design process and the science of human factors is invaluable in providing some science onto this.  However, the input of people-centered processes at the early, strategic phases of design can prevent the development of poor ideas or unfeasible design projects. 

 

What do we do?

We use of knowledge of human behaviour and ethnographical methods and tools to observe people and provide the insight into target user goals, needs and expectations.  We use a variety of proven techniques to bring this insight into the strategic design development process.  We engage directly with target users but this isn't a marketing method - this is a scientific approach to human understanding.
