Design Consultants
David Brooker
BA Hons 
David graduated from Brighton Polytechnic of Art and Design in 1977 with a first class honours degree in Three Dimensional Design. He has experience of a wide range of projects - fit-out, refurbishment and new build. Examples range from the Waterside Inn at Bray (3 Michelin star restaurant with guest accommodation) through to large scale fit-outs for such organisations as ING Barings, BNP Paribas, ABN Amro and the British Government Department for International Development. He has extensive experience of working with services consultants, audio-visual consultants and IT specialists, as well as acoustic consultants and security specialists to fully integrate their designs into the fabric of the building and evolving innovative design solutions.
Since joining CCD in January 2007, David has been responsible for the design of four Integrated Control Centres for Network Rail (Kent, Sussex, Swindon and Wessex) as well as the West Midlands Signalling Centre in Birmingham. Other design projects for CCD include the internal planning and concept design for the control building for the ITER nuclear fusion experimental facility in the South of France, as well as control rooms for the South Central Ambulance Service in the UK and the Abu Dhabi Onshore Company for Onshore Oil Operations in the United Arab Emirates. He has also been a consultant to the UK FiReControl project advising on furniture procurement and compliance with acoustic and lighting performance requirements.
Paul Reynolds
BA 
Paul worked at CCD as a Junior Designer during a placement year that formed part of his degree in Industrial Design and Technology. After returning to Loughborough University to complete his degree, he graduated in 2004 and returned to work at CCD as a Consultant.
Paul has worked on the design of a number of control centres, particularly in the emergency services, railway and road transportation industries. His industrial design skills enable him to develop attractive design proposals that take account of the end user and project requirements. Paul was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2008 and has gone on to manage a number of successful projects in the railway industry.
