Tenders & Approvals

Tenders & Approvals

The successful outcome of a workspace design project relies on an implementation programme that ensures critical ergonomics requirements and design decisions are carried through into the final product. The CCD design team supports project delivery through careful management of interior fit-outs and furniture procurement.

What do we do?

We will prepare comprehensive design specifications and tender documentation for furniture and for interior refurbishments, as well as new-build environments. We will advise clients on appropriate contractors, respond to tender queries and evaluate tender returns.

Following the appointment of fit-out contractors, we conduct a technical review of construction drawings, attend site meetings and conduct site inspections to monitor quality and compliance with the design. We will conduct snagging and undertake final acceptance of the interior fit-out.

CCD will provide technical liaison between the project team and the furniture manufacturer. For a new workstation design, a prototype will be requested and we will conduct stakeholder sessions to check both ergonomics compliance and engineering requirements such as equipment fit, mounting arrangements and cable management. Prototype sign-off gives authorisation for manufacture to commence.

We will monitor the furniture manufacture for programme and quality compliance, conduct factory acceptance, supervise delivery and attend during workstation equipment installation.
